18 May 2015 - by

Join Christians for an Ethical Society and the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture as they host distinguished journalist Paul Bongiorno AM for a talk on equity and Federal Budget 2015. Paul will discuss the measures announced by the government in its budget and the likely effects, with a focus on whether the budget provides a fair go for all or whether it will exacerbate inequity in our society.

The talk will take place from 7.30pm, Thursday 21 May at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture and will be chaired by Bishop George Browning.

A journalist for 40 years, Paul Bongiorno has won four national Walkley Awards for journalistic excellence. Currently a Contributing Editor for Network Ten, he writes weekly columns for The Saturday Paper and other publications, as well as being a regular commentator on ABC Radio National. He also has a Master's degree in Theology from the Pontifical Urban University, Rome.
