Centre for Ecumenical Studies – Winter School

The Centre for Ecumenical Studies is now accepting applications for its five-day Winter School 'Looking Beyond Division'.

The Winter School will be held in Sydney at the Australian Catholic University between Monday 20 – Friday 24 June 2016.

This course unit will introduce students to the study of ecumenics by:

• examining the biblical and theological basis for ecumenism
• studying the history of the modern ecumenical movement
• discussing issues pertaining to the Unity of the Church and its Mission
• exploring problems and possibilities relating to ecumenical worship
• considering the theology and practice of inter-religious dialogue.
