Stevens MAPS will be presenting his inaugural professorial lecture in the chapel of the Australian Centre for
Christianity and Culture on Wednesday, 28 October 2015. This event
is free and open to the public and no reservation is required.
Professor Stevens will be presenting a lecture on 'Mindful
Self-Compassion for Chaplains and Aged Care Workers'. Chaplains and pastoral
carers as well as those with an interest in spirituality and practical
theology are encouraged to attend.
The event will also double as a book launch for Facilitating Spiritual Reminiscence for
People with Dementia: A Learning Guide by Elizabeth MacKinlay and
Corinne Trevitt.
This event was made possible by the generosity of the J.O. & J.R. Wicking
Trust and The Salvation Army Aged Care Plus.
