We are delighted to announce that the Rev'd Susanna Pain will be Commissioned as Associate Director, Liturgy, the Arts and Spiritual Care on Wednesday 18th November at 7.30pm in the Chapel of the ACC&C.
The Chorus of Women will sing for this occasion and all are invited to attend.
Executive Director Rt Rev'd Prof Stephen Pickard said Rev'd Pain's appointment is an exciting development for the Centre.
"Susanna brings a wealth of experience and creativity to her ministry and we know the ACC&C's witness and influence will be greatly enhanced by this appointment," Prof Pickard said.
Speaking about her new role Rev'd Pain said:
"I am excited about this new position and especially exploring engaging the arts to address social justice issues in creative ecumenical/interfaith ways. I am currently developing a contemplative walk around the site, and working on an exhibition and seminars by refugee artists for February next year.
"I am also part of a committee organising a Festival for Peace which will be held at the ACC&C in April 2016. In the meantime, I do hope people can join me for Campfire Reflections during the month of November."
