This exhibition invites 15 Australian contemporary visual artists to respond to the process of human birth. From a diverse range of national and cultural backgrounds, with contrasting world views, these artists celebrate life through rich and varied artistic mediums.

Wed 16 // 3 - 5pm 'Birthing in Julian of Norwich' Reflection with Spiritual director and theologian Dr Kerrie Hide. In this reflection attendees will gaze and behold images in the art exhibition and images of birthing in Julian's Revelations of Love as a lens through which to identify and nurture our own fertile seed of creativity. Each will encourage the other to birth the divine, be a God-bearer at this poignant moment. Inviting communal wisdom the reflection will explore, name, bless and enjoy the emergent life within us personally and communally.
Sat 19 // 9.30 - 1pm 'Celebrating Seasons of Birth and Creativity' Retreat - bookings essential events@eremos.org.au The retreat will be Led by Frances MacKay with an introduction to the artworks by Doug Purnell. The brief event allows participants to view the exhibition and encounter each of the artworks. There will be a time of prayer, time alone, and group conversation about the powerful and evocative theme of Birth and Creativity.
