The ACC&C is delighted to host the Canberra launch of Richard Randerson's memoir Slipping the Moorings on Tuesday 2 June. The book reflects on Richard's 50 years as priest and bishop in Australia and New Zealand, with an extended chapter on his time in Canberra and the Australian Church.
The book launch will be held from 7.30pm, Tuesday 2 June at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture.
Other chapters in the book address issues of poverty and socio-economic justice, ethics in the public square, the same-sex relationships debate in both Church and society since the 1970s, a critique of Richard Dawkins and the current atheistic surge around the world, and a lament for the largely silent voice of the Church in contemporary public debate.
