Australian Police Memorial Parade

07 Oct 2022 - by Lauren Bartley

Each year, on September 29, vigils, services and marches are held across the land to commemorate National Police Remembrance Day. National Police Remembrance Day is a day to remember and honour all police officers who have been killed in the line of duty.

We are fortunate at the ACC&C to be able to offer our grounds to assist the Australian Federal Police in the preparation for their annual parade celebrating National Police Remembrance Day. The parade begins at Blackall Street and proceeds across Kings Avenue to the National Police Memorial in Kings, where the dusk memorial service takes place.
