What is happening around the world around Spirituality and Ageing?
Prof Elizabeth MacKinlay AM, Professor Ann Harrington, Sally Mordike, Elizabeth Pringle and Beate Steller are about to head to Toronto, Canada for the 10th International Conference on Ageing and Spirituality.
The International Conference on Ageing and Spirituality attracts expert researchers and scholars, as well as experts-by-experience such as seniors, practitioners, policy-makers, faith communities and care partners.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Challenges and Choices: Spirituality and dignity in later life.” It will explore the contexts in which we find ourselves including generational perceptions of the reality of ageing, dignity in later life, dying and death, diversity, the role of the arts and the potential of technology.
All five delegates have been involved in the planning and/or are giving presentations. We are sure they will have a wonderful time, building connections and participating in stimulating discussions and learning opportunities.
And those learning opportunities and stimulating discussions won’t end when the participants fly home.
All five delegates will be sharing highlights from the conference and any presentations they gave in in a free webinar on 21 June.
The Centre for Ageing and Pastoral Studies (CAPS) June webinar ‘Let’s talk about: Highlights from the International Conference on Ageing and Spirituality, Toronto, Canada’, will be presented on Wednesday 21 June 2023, 3-5pm. Attendance is free, but please register.
