The Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture has received 15 applications to this year’s Religious Short Film Prize which closed recently.
Entrants were tasked to create a film that explores the relationship between religion, faith and ‘hot button’ issue of Australian society in under 8 minutes.
The applications will now be forwarded to judges Rev Dr David Millikan, Dr Susan Murphy and Steve Mason to make a decision on the winner.
A winner will be announced on Wednesday the 8th of August 2018 at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture.
This is the second time the Centre has run this prize after the inaugural Religious Short Film Prize was awarded to Ms Liz Cooper in 2016 for her short film The Forgotten Tree.
The winner will receive $5000 cash prize.
The Religious Short Film Prize is generously supported by Clive and Lynlea Rodgers.
