Environmental Sustainability Grant
We continue to work towards the public good. We are focused on developing individuals who help their communities grow and flourish.
The Community University Partnerships (CUP) Environmental Sustainability Grant is a small grants program (maximum project value is $2,000) to support initiatives that aligns with CSU’s adopted definition of sustainability (see below) and will improve the environmental and social sustainability of CSU’s regional communities.
CSU defines sustainability as being:
Sustainability is a process that integrates environmental, social and economic considerations into decision making with the goal of creating a thriving and healthy society. Its focus is on improving the quality of life for all citizens without increasing the use of natural resources beyond the capacity of the environment to supply them indefinitely. Sustainability is based on a simple principle: Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment.
Registered community organisations may apply for a grant under this round. Applications should demonstrate how the activity will support engagement with learning and further education.
