About the books

Rejoice & Be Glad: Gospel Preaching for Christian Festivals

Theologically sharp, culturally savvy, engaged with current events and grounded in the Eucharist, these lectionary-based homilies celebrate the joy of the Gospel through the occasions that structure the life of liturgical churches.

Available from the publisher: Coventry Press.

Why Church? Christianity as It Was Meant to Be

Instead of a software package providing Christians with their private spiritual resources, the Church for Scott Cowdell is God’s “nontribal tribe” in the thick of an increasingly tribalistic world, held close by Jesus through the gospel and the Eucharist.

Published by Church Publishing, New York, and available from Amazon.
