Join renowned poets, SK Kelen and John Foulcher, for the launch of their two new books.

S. K. Kelen: The Cult of What Comes Next (Puncher&Wattmann 2025)

S. K. Kelen is an Australian poet who has been writing poetry for longer than he cares to remember. He enjoys travel, sports, gardening on cool sunny days, reading, writing, and philosophically hanging around the house. His most recent collections were A Happening in Hades (Puncher & Wattmann, 2020) and Love’s Philosophy (Gazebo Books, 2020).

John Foulcher: The Night Stair (Pitt Street Poetry 2025)

The Night Stair is John Foulcher’s thirteenth book of poetry. His last book, Dancing with Stephen Hawking (Pitt Street Poetry 2021), was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Poetry Prize in 2022. His work has appeared in Australian magazines and anthologies over nearly forty years, and he has received many awards. In 2010-11 he was the Literature Board of the Australia Council’s resident at the Keesing Studio in Paris.

Both books will be launched by Judith Nangala Crispin.

Judith Nangala Crispin is a Canberra-based poet and visual artist, with a background in music, living in on unceded Yuin Country on the Southern Tablelands. She has published two collections of poetry, The Myrrh-Bearers (Sydney: Puncher & Wattmann, 2015), and photographs and poems made with the Warlpiri, The Lumen Seed (New York: Daylight Books, 2017). She is a proud member of Oculi collective and is an artist in residence with Music Viva.
