Proudly hosted by Headspace Port Macquarie in partnership with Charles Sturt University, Understanding Screen Addiction in Teens is designed for parents, carers and those who work with youth including health professionals and educators, who want to understand the impacts that screen and gaming use can have on the brain, how it may look in teens and some practical strategies for support.

Facilitated by Dr Wayne Warburton, a Professor of Developmental Psychology at Macquarie University and a registered psychologist, Wayne brings a wealth of knowledge to the event - that you don't want to miss!

He is co-author of the books Growing Up Fast and Furious and The Importance of Media Literacy and is a renowned speaker who has worked with parents and professionals over the last 20 years, particularly around issues related to media use and behavioural addictions such as screen disorders and problem gambling.
