Our strategy is built on four key focus areas: students, people and enablers, research, and social responsibility. These focus areas, underpinned by our First Nations strategy, articulate the core areas Charles Sturt will advance in pursuing Strategy 2030.
This diagram represents the hierarchy of Charles Sturt's strategy goals. At the top, is our ethos, 'Yindyamarra Winhanganha', this Wiradjuri term sets our vision as a regional university. The vision is supported by our strategic focus areas; students, people and enablers, research and social responsibility. Each focus area has objectives that are driven by our values of being insightful, Impactful, inclusive and inspiring to our university community.

This artwork ‘Weaving Together’ represents the university’s commitment to ensuring that First Nations priorities are woven throughout our strategies responsibilities and performance measures. The artist, Lani Balzan is a proud Aboriginal woman from the Wiradjuri people of the three-river tribe.
