The staff and management of Murray Children's Centre would like to welcome you to our centre. We are a university based Early Childhood Centre, based on the Charles Sturt University, Albury-Wodonga Campus. We serve the children of the University and general community, staff, and students.
Murray Children's Centre has been operating since 1995. The centre complies with ACECQA National Regulations, achieving an ‘exceeding’ rating, and is licensed for 71 places per day. Murray Children's Centre is dedicated to exemplary professional practice and ethical early childhood research.
We offer learning experiences to children birth to five years in an innovative and inclusive centre that is guided by exemplary practice and research. Our centre is open to all children in the university and surrounding communities.
We are open Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
We operate for 50 weeks of the year, closing for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
Parents can claim the Australian Government Child Care Subsidy through the Family Assistance Office. The Department of Human Services has more information on the Child Care Subsidy.
The Murray Children's Centre is a purpose built childcare facility, which opened in 2011. Our Centre is set amongst idyllic bushland and offers 5 large play rooms all with open, natural playgrounds.
