Rev'd Prof Elizabeth MacKinlay presented 'End of life care: a pastoral approach to dying in the light of the Queensland Legislation on Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD)' at the Anglican-Roman Catholic Clergy Day at St Colomb’s Anglican Church in Clayfield Queensland on 2 June 2022. The theme for the gathering was "Pastoral care to people (and their families) who are considering voluntary assisted dying". This topic was chosen for this year’s clergy day in preparation for the implementation of  VAD following the passing of enabling legislation by the Queensland government last year. Prof MacKinlay is director of the Centre for Ageing & Pastoral Studies (CAPS) at the ACC&C.
