The centre is licensed to care for 58 children. We welcome children of:

  • Charles Sturt University staff and students
  • children of distance education students who attend Charles Sturt University intensive (residential) schools
  • the wider community

Our rooms

Infant rooms

Number of rooms: 2

Age: 0-2 years

Ratio: 1 staff member - 4 children

The Infant rooms have two staff members, a Diploma trained child care worker, and a Certificate 3 trained child care worker..

Toddler room

Number of rooms: 2

Age: 2-3 years

Ratio: Ratio 1 staff member - 5 children

The toddler rooms have two staff members, a Diploma trained child care worker, and a Certificate 3 trained child care worker.

Pre school room

Number of rooms: 1

Age: 3-5 years room

Ratio: 1 staff member - 10 children

The Pre School room has two staff members, an Early Childhood Teacher, and a trained child care worker.

Inclusions

Meals

The Centre provides a variety of healthy snacks for morning and afternoon tea. Formula for babies needs to be supplied by the family and we require you to pack lunch for your child. The centre caters for special dietary requirements, however if your child does require a special diet we may request you see a dietitian/allergy specialist and the written information be shared with the centre to ensure your child’s dietary needs are met while in our care.

Nappies

Nappies are provided for babies and toddlers.

Breastfed babies

Mums are always welcome in the Centre to feed their child/ren.

Our team

All staff, educators and volunteers working at the centre are required to undergo a Working With Children Check.
