HG Brennan Lecture and Workshop

25 Feb 2025 - by Liz Jakimow

It was a packed house last night for the HG Brennan Lecture in Economics and Theology, with Commissioner of the Productivity Commission, Dr Catherine de Fontenay. In her lecture titled ‘Economics and Selfishness’, Catherine covered a range of issues in an informative and engaging way. After the lecture, audience members continued the conversations, accompanied by wine donated by Margaret Brennan.

The HG Brennan Lecture in Economics and Theology lecture is a public lecture in memory of distinguished philosopher and economist, HG Brennan. It is held every year, prior to the HG Brennan Workshop on Economics and Theology, which takes places from 7-9 February.
