Charles Sturt University and Regional Study hubs

As a regional student, you can access a study hub to get support in your own community to complete your course.

Regional Study hubs provide

  • fast internet
  • quiet places to study
  • rooms for exams
  • help with academic skills
  • opportunities to connect with other students.

Types of hubs

Each hub works a little differently.

  • Country Universities Centre (CUC): Community-run hubs in 35 Australian communities, part of a network of 22 centres.
  • Regional University Study Hubs (RUSH): Independent hubs run by local organisations in rural or remote areas.
  • Suburban University Study Hubs (SUSH): Independent hubs in suburban areas, sometimes linked to TAFE or other large organisations.

Operating hours vary between centres, with some open 24 hours a day.

Some communities also have study spaces in libraries or other community centres.
