The Wangaratta Regional Study Centre is at the heart of the Ovens Murray area of the Hume region in Victoria. We are here to meet regional needs and help the community prosper through supporting the needs of our students. We are a partnership between Charles Sturt University and GOTAFE.

Aim of the Centre

We support a strong, vibrant community and region through:

  • Building aspirations
  • Supporting online learning
  • Creating pathways to higher education
  • Developing industry and community capacity
  • Creating and sharing new knowledge

To help us do this we have state-of-the-art facilities including seminar and conference rooms, a full science laboratory, a teaching kitchen, student areas with computers and office spaces.

We are co-located with GOTAFE in a purpose-built facility catering to the needs of the animal science, veterinary nursing, agriculture, horticulture, viticulture and equine industries.

What can I study at Wangaratta?

If you are a Charles Sturt student in the region, we support you whether you are studying online or face-to-face. We offer access to computers and video conferencing facilities, meeting and lecture rooms, student commons and study spaces.

We also support courses with a large Victorian cohort by offering intensive (residential) schools here in Victoria.
