Wangaratta Regional Study Centre
The Wangaratta Regional Study Centre (WRSC) was established in the Ovens–Murray area of the Hume region of North East Victoria. The Centre is a partnership between Charles Sturt University (CSU) and the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.
Aim of the Centre
Our aim is to meet regional needs and help the community prosper. We support a strong, vibrant community and region through:
- building aspirations
- supporting online learning
- creating pathways to higher education
- developing industry and community capacity
- creating and sharing new knowledge
To help us do this, we have fantastic state-of-the-art facilities including a full science laboratory, a teaching kitchen, seminar and conference rooms, common learning and study spaces, and staff offices.
About Wangaratta
Wangaratta is a regional centre servicing a broad catchment of 58,000 people. The township itself is home to 27,100 people and is surrounded by Victoria's most geographically diverse and scenic region. The rich agricultural land surrounding Wangaratta yields gourmet produce and world class wines.
If you are a CSU Student in the region we offer you access to computer and video conferencing facilities, meeting and lecture rooms and we have a student commons.
We support courses with a large Victorian cohort by offering residential schools as well as offering the following courses through Wangaratta:
