Wangaratta Regional Study Centre

The Wangaratta Regional Study Centre (WRSC) was established in the Ovens–Murray area of the Hume region of North East Victoria. The Centre is a partnership between Charles Sturt University (CSU) and the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.

Aim of the Centre

Our aim is to meet regional needs and help the community prosper. We support a strong, vibrant community and region through:

  • building aspirations
  • supporting online learning
  • creating pathways to higher education
  • developing industry and community capacity
  • creating and sharing new knowledge

To help us do this, we have fantastic state-of-the-art facilities including a full science laboratory, a teaching kitchen, seminar and conference rooms, common learning and study spaces, and staff offices.

We are co-located with the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE (GOTAFE) at the Rural Industries Campus. The Rural Industries Campus is a world-class, $10 million purpose-built facility, catering to the needs of the animal science, agriculture, equine, horticulture and viticulture industries.

It's also the main campus of the National Centre for Equine Education. The centre also serves as a hub for students studying with us online by providing student learning and tutorial spaces, and access to the Charles Sturt University network.
