Our partners

A key part of our work with the regional community is building collaborations and partnerships in ways that strengthen the work we all do, creating robust outcomes that become more sustainable.

Startup Shakeup

Startup Shakeup is the innovation ecosystem for the North East.  A startup itself in 2018, we service the needs of Startups, Shakeups (businesses who want to do it differently) and Innovators (who want to think differently). Now entering an Acceleration Phase, find out what Startup Shakeup do.

Ovens Murray AgBiz Alliance (OMABA)

OMABA aims to create a united voice for Agribusiness across the region. Auspiced by AgBiz Assist, OMABA produces a regular newsletter with resources and opportunities for our food and fibre producers, AgTech and startup businesses. OMABA was a key driver behind the hosting of the 2019 Victorian Agribusiness Summit in Wangaratta.

Leadership In Healthy Ageing Network (LiHA)

LiHA is our consortium that, with the support of The Department of Health and Human Services, bought the LiHA short course to the region, going on to develop a webinar on the Impacts of Social Isolation on Older Adults in March 2020, and a free short course on Healthy Ageing.

Goulburn Ovens TAFE

Wangaratta Regional Study Centre was founded in partnership with GOTAFE, who remain a core partner. Together we work on outreach programs for schools, careers events and activities, articulated pathways, and building the capacity of the region.

Digital Technology Advisory Committee (DTAC)

We know that access, ability and affordability all create barriers to digital inclusion. The Australian Digital Inclusion Index Report highlights the effects this has in regional areas. In response to this, we were a founding member of DTAC, providing access to STEM events, advice and a resource library, giving those in our region better access to technology and its benefits.

DTAC has seen amazing outcomes with local students winning international robotics and coding competitions including flying their robot on the International Space Station.

Careers Networks

One of the best ways we can support schools is through supporting their teachers. WRSC was a founding member of the North East Careers Advisers Network, as well as supporting NETracks LLEN and the Tomorrow Today Foundation in the work that they do.
