North East Victoria Health Careers Day

Thinking about a future in health? The North East Victoria (NEVIC) Health Careers Day is for students in Years 10-12 who are curious about health careers and want to explore what’s really out there.

You’ll get to meet people working in a wide range of health jobs across our region, hear their stories, and find out what their day-to-day work is actually like. It’s a chance to ask questions, try things hands-on, and see if a career in health could be right for you.

What you’ll get out of the day:

  • Try hands-on workshops to see what different health roles really involve
  • Hear from regional health professionals about their pathways and experiences
  • Discover the huge range of health careers available locally and beyond
  • Chat with education providers about courses, entry requirements and study options
  • Meet potential future employers and learn about real jobs in regional health

How the day works

  • Choose from 20+ workshops run by different health services
  • Attend 4 workshops and 2 whole-group sessions across the day
  • You’ll pre-select your 4 workshop choices when you register
