Accessibility services
At Charles Sturt, we provide an accessible environment for all students, staff, visitors and the community. This includes:
- Health and counselling services
- Religious support
- Accessibility and Inclusion support
- Equity and diversity support
- Support for people from an Indigenous background
Health and counselling services
We hold regular health information sessions on campus, and provide a website with further information, community contacts and reliable medical websites. We have a particular focus on drug and alcohol awareness as well as sexual and mental health.
We also provide students with student counsellors who are available to discuss a full range of issues, including:
- personal concerns
- academic and administrative problems
- referrals to community groups
- stress, assertiveness and exam anxiety
- workshops on a variety of topics
- depression, loss and grief, abuse issues, family conflicts, relationships
For staff, we provide an Employee Assistance Program. This program provides counsellors who can support staff with:
- managing conflict
- adjusting to change
- handling work stress
- making career choices
- dealing with traumatic events
- various other issues
Religious support
We are supportive of religious diversity. We demonstrate this by giving staff and students access to community resources and services on campus. This includes Visiting Spiritual Advisers who provide support to campus communities.

- Port Macquarie
- Wagga Wagga
