Portrait Policy

The Official Portraits Policy provides that the University may commission portraits of individuals:

• as recognition of distinguished service
• as documentation of the history of the University, and
• to enhance the quality of the University's art collection.

Among the many fine works in the collection, the University has commissioned paintings by leading Australian artists of the University's vice-chancellors and chancellors.
